The role of Maintenance Engineer is vital to the efficiency, development and progress of the manufacturing lines. Working closely with other technical professionals, you'll improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes. You will support the Factory Services & Maintenance Leader as follows:
* Design and where necessary manufacture new tooling and equipment to support new processes and products
* Develop and complete daily TPM activity ensuring accurate records of work done and parts used are maintained to reduce unplanned downtime
* Attend critical equipment breakdowns to diagnose faults and ensure production is resumed as soon as possible
* Contribute to the planning and organisation of new production lines and processes into the business
* Assist with production line moves
* Supervise contractors when on site, completing induction (pre-works) and snagging (postworks)
* Support production areas with replacement tooling as required, offering design improvements to eliminate failure modes
* Liaise with suppliers to source required components at best cost / lead time
* Contribute to clearing of open 'Work Service Request’ tickets in a timely manner
