Trainee Fire Safety Assessor – Start Your Career in Safety
Location: Peterborough, Hybrid with travel to other sites (approx 2 days a week) and occasional travel to other regions as required.
Salary: £23,373 per annum (subject to meeting requirements). You will also receive an essential car user allowance of £1,250 per annum.
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm.
About the Role
As a Fire Safety Trainee you will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, gaining practical skills while studying towards a NEBOSH Fire Safety qualification. The role involves a variety of fire safety activities across the organisation, in a structured learning environment where your development matters.
Key Responsibilities
While apprenticing you will:
* Work alongside experienced staff on fire safety activities.
* Support learning and development towards NEBOSH qualification.
* Apply fire safety processes and procedures in real situations.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments.

* Previous fire safety or compliance experience.
* Experience working in social housing.
* Awareness of fire safety legislation and regulations.
