SEN Tutor role at Leader Education

Hourly Pay: £25 - £40 per hour
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
About the Role
The Leader Group is supporting a growing education programme as part of a leading specialist education provider. This role focuses on making a difference for learners who need extra support to participate in school or learning sessions and achieve their academic goals. The role involves supporting multiple pupils across the Middlesbrough area so that they do not miss out on the school experience.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Maths, English, and intervention sessions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.
* Work face-to-face with learners in their homes or a neutral location such as a community library, or if needed over Microsoft Teams, across the Middlesbrough area.
* Support vulnerable students by tailoring lessons to their learning needs.
* Collaborate with safeguarding advisors to ensure learners’ wellbeing and development are fully supported.
What We Expect / Requirements
* Holds QTS/QTLS (essential).
* Compassionate, student-focused approach, particularly for learners with SEND or SEMH needs.
* Has tutoring or teaching experience with children requiring additional support.
* Holds a full UK driving licence.
