Are you an Employment Lawyer with Trade Union or strong claimant experience looking for your next opportunity?
Our client is looking for a Qualified Employment Solicitor/Barrister/CILEx, ideally with Trade Union or member organisation experience, whether that be direct experience or working on behalf of a Trade Union/Member organisation.
The successful Employment Lawyer will be employed on a full-time basis and will be expected to attend the London-based offices 3 days per week. The role is an initial 3-month contract, ideally starting in mid-May, however there is potential for this to be extended. The rate on offer is a competitive £53 umbrella per hour.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Providing advice and support on legal issues affecting members
* Assisting with training of staff and members on legal issues
* Undertaking advocacy when appropriate, in the tribunals, courts and internal hearings
