Marsh & Co. is a leading interior design and manufacturing business specialising in bespoke, high-end cabinetry, furnishings, and decor. We're known for our meticulous craftsmanship and stunning installations in residential and commercial properties across South & West Yorkshire. Due to a period of continued growth, we're seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker & Fitter to join our dedicated team.
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring every installation meets our high standards of quality and design.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Project Execution: Execute the full installation of high-end, bespoke cabinetry, including kitchens, bedrooms, and media units, in residential environments.
* Site Management: Accurately survey and measure project sites, translate design briefs into precise pre-production drawings, and oversee the removal of existing furniture.
* Craftsmanship: Install a wide range of custom cabinetry from CAD drawings and 3D visuals, working with diverse materials to ensure a flawless finish.
* Finishing & Detailing: Perform detailed second-fix joinery, including installing bespoke panelling, doors, skirting boards, architraves, upholstered headboards, and soft furnishings like curtains and blinds.
* Collaboration: Work proactively with our design team, using your initiative to assist with all aspects of project installations, contributing to the success of our interior design and renovation projects.
* Problem-Solving: Utilise a diverse set of skills, including joinery, decorating, and basic electrical work, to troubleshoot and complete projects to the highest standard.
Skills & Qualifications We're Looking For
* A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in joinery, with a focus on fitted furniture installation.
* Exceptional craftsmanship with a strong portfolio and an unwavering attention to detail.
* Proficiency in creating pre-production drawings for bespoke cabinetry.
* Excellent time management and the ability to work independently, prioritising tasks to meet project timelines.
* A positive, "can-do" attitude and a passion for delivering beautiful interior design projects.
* A full, clean UK driving licence and your own professional-grade tools.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and a basic understanding of other trades.
