As a Sous Chef at Sodexo in Priory Hospital Woodbourne, you’ll lead in preparing high-quality meals that support patient wellbeing and enhance the overall dining experience.
What you’ll do:
* Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards.
* Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
* Support, guide, and train junior chefs and kitchen staff.
* Assist in kitchen management, ensuring every dish meets high standards.
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, COSHH, and fire safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
What you bring:
* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience as a chef.
* Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for cooking.
* Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
* Clear, respectful communication and a strong team spirit.
