JOB VACANCY: WRAPAROUND CARE ASSISTANT (AFTERSCHOOL CLUB)
Start date: To start as soon as possible but flexibility for the right candidate
Hours: 3pm to 6pm (15 hours per week, Mon to Fri, term time only)
Salary: £12.21 per hour
We're seeking a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to support our children, aged 3-11 years old. You will work alongside the Wraparound Care Manager to help deliver a safe, engaging and fun environment for children after school. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, values being part of a close-knit school community, and is keen to contribute to something positive and rewarding.
The ideal candidate will be kind, nurturing, patient, and adaptable, with a strong passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting every child's learning journey. You will ideally be a qualified early years educator (Level 3) and have previous experience of working as a teaching/support assistant in a school environment.
Hipperholme is an independent day school for pupils aged 3-16, with a nursery, juniors and seniors sections. The school is located in the village of Hipperholme, having been founded here in 1648 by Matthew Broadley. Class sizes are small, with junior year groups up to 20 pupils and senior year groups being a maximum of 40 pupils, split between two classes. We pride ourselves on knowing all our pupils as individuals, nurturing them, inspiring them and helping them achieve their best, whatever that may be.
