Overview
CCTV Drainage Engineer (Special Projects Division) – Swindon Treatment Works, Swindon, Wiltshire. We are the UK’s largest independent specialist infrastructure delivery partner, delivering high standards of quality and compliance across a 24/7 operation. Full training, PPE and company equipment are provided to ensure you can perform at a high level from day one.
About the Role
We are looking for customer-focused people to join our Utility Division on the Thames Water contract to deliver practical solutions to wastewater networks and drainage problems. You will work on residential sites in a two-person crew using our high-tech fleet of vans.
Responsibilities
* Travel to residential sites in a two-man crew, covering the Thames Valley area, with one of our custom-equipped high-tech vans.
* Survey the network of drainage systems.
* Assess pipe conditions to produce high-quality reports using state-of-the-art drain surveying equipment.
* Ensure jobs attended are completed.
* Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the job.
* Liaise with the Technical Specialists regarding access and equipment issues.
* Ensure safe site setup.
* Update job notes on VISTEC.
* Take photos of the setup, inspection chamber and whole site.
* Deliver good customer service and maintain strong H&S practice while carrying out works.
* Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and responsibilities towards them.
* Take on any reasonable ad-hoc tasks, projects or duties as requested by management.
What is essential / About You
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, respectful and compliant with health and safety standards. Experience with OS19X is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.

Location: Swindon Treatment Works, Swindon, Wiltshire
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours, plus every other weekend
Salary: £32,000 per annum (basic pay including night premium, overtime and bonuses)
