Band 6 Locum Radiotherapist Location: Derby Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 Months Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0800-1600/0900-1700/1200-2000 Pay Rate: £25.00 - £26.00 per hour We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Locum Radiotherapist to join our healthcare team in Derby. This 6-month contract offers a competitive pay rate of £25.00 - £26.00 per hour, with working hours from Monday to Friday, including shifts from 0800-1600, 0900-1700, and 1200-2000. This role is perfect for a skilled radiotherapist looking to contribute to a dynamic team and deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: As a Band 6 Locum Radiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering precise and effective radiotherapy treatments to patients, operating advanced equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. You will maintain accurate patient records, perform quality assurance checks, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment plans and outcomes. Providing patient support and education throughout their treatment journey will also be a key aspect of your role. Requirements: Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent. Current registration with the HCPC. Previous experience as a Radiotherapist, preferably at Band 6 level. Proficiency in advanced radiotherapy equipment and techniques. Strong understanding of radiotherapy safety standards and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
