We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. DRIVING LICENCE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE
Duties
* Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Medication administration.
* Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
* Support individuals with mobility challenges.
* Maintain a safe environment for service users.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in service users' condition to the appropriate personnel.
* Manual Handling to provide our service users the best quality of life possible
* Good time management
* The ability to work on your own or as part of a team
* The ability to follow care plans
* keep up to date to keep up to date with training
* Be willing to register with Social Care Wales
* Be willing to enrol on a QCF level 2 if required
* Be able to communicate well with the management and senior team
Experience
* Previous experience in home care is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with care practices within a home care setting is advantageous although, all training is provided.
* A caring attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
