The Role
The used vehicle merchandiser is responsible for optimising the sale of used vehicles by ensuring they are attractively presented and competitively priced online. This includes tasks like checking for high-quality photography, writing compelling descriptions, managing online listings, and ensuring accurate information is available. This role helps ensure stock is presented at the highest quality, creates a positive customer experience, and increases the likelihood of enquiry conversion.
What You’ll Do
You'll bring our vehicles to life online—creating listings that are clear, eye-catching, and packed with the info customers need to say yes. From visuals to data, you’ll make sure every detail shines.
* Vehicle Presentation: Ensure high-quality images and videos are taken of all used vehicles and accurately represented in online listings.
* Online Listings: Create and maintain accurate and appealing online listings with compelling descriptions, confirm manufacturers' optional specifications, add attention-grabbing details, and ensure high-quality visuals.
* Customer Experience: Provide accurate information and create a positive impression to enhance the customer experience.
* Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company standards and relevant regulations.
* Reporting: Provide reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics to management.
Who You Are
* You’re creative, detail-driven, and customer-focused with the ability to grab online attention and present information clearly.
* Automotive Retail Experience: Familiarity with the used car market and sales processes is preferred.
* Digital Marketing Skills: Proficiency with online inventory management tools and digital marketing principles.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating compelling descriptions and interacting with Stores.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and support pricing decisions and inventory management.
* Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
