Offer description

The post-holder will provide comprehensive training, user guidance, and support to improve business and clinical processes through electronic applications and systems for the Trust and satellite sites across the local health community.

The post-holder will be responsible for aspects of the day-to-day administration and management of training provision. The role focuses on exploiting technology and solutions throughout the Trust, facilitating the realization of benefits from new technology.

Key responsibilities include delivering end-user training of Trust systems and standard desktop software applications to all staff levels, functioning as a subject matter expert, and producing/updating training content such as eLearning and user guidance.

You will contribute to planning, designing, and delivering complex IT systems training, advising clinical and non-clinical staff based on their training needs. Additionally, you will develop and produce end-user training materials, quick reference guides, and competency-based tests.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Informatics, Change, and Training teams to engage clinicians and managers in EPR training, raising awareness and informing colleagues across the Trust. You will also manage learner records for auditing and reporting purposes.

Suitable qualifications include a degree level or relevant NHS experience working with Clinical Systems. Experience with Cerner EPR is advantageous. You should possess excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.

Good knowledge of IT in a clinical environment is essential, and you should be willing to learn EPR applications and workflows intensively.
