Full Stack Developer (Java)
Location: Hybrid (West Midlands-based)
Sector: Public Sector (preferred experience)
Security Clearance: While SC clearance is desirable, it is not essential. Candidates must be eligible to obtain UK SC clearance (e.g. having lived in the UK for the past 5 years and no criminal record).

What You’ll Be Doing
Join TXP as a Full Stack Developer, working on client-facing projects within internal or customer development teams. You’ll focus on backend development using Java and Spring, with some frontend work in React or JavaScript/TypeScript. You’ll be hands-on across the full development lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, within Agile sprints.
You’ll collaborate with customers, delivery partners, and colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions that meet real-world needs.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after a developer who’s confident with Java and comfortable working across the stack. You’ll be proactive, quality-focused, and able to explain technical ideas clearly.
* Java (1.6/1.8), Spring Framework
* React or modern JS/TS frameworks
* REST APIs, Oracle PL/SQL
* Microservices, Maven, Docker/Kubernetes
* Agile/Scrum experience
* Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), TDD/CI
* Azure or AWS
* Bash/Linux scripting
* SOA, component-based development
* Exposure to technical architecture
