Job Title: Machining & Paint Shop Support Operative (Temp to Perm)
Location: Coalville
Hours: Full-time
We are currently recruiting for a Machining & Paint Shop Support Operative to join our busy engineering company based in Coalville. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering long-term stability and full training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the machining and paint shop departments
2. Filling and grinding components to a high standard
3. Paint spraying and preparation work
4. Assisting with work around cylinder heads
5. Operating a counterbalance forklift (valid licence required)
6. Booking in parts and measuring components accurately
7. General support duties across the workshop
8. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment with daily clean-up duties
Requirements:
9. Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
10. Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
11. Experience with filling, grinding, or paint spraying (advantageous)
12. Ability to measure and check parts accurately
13. Strong work ethic and team player attitude
14. Willingness to learn – training will be provided for the right person
