A thriving secondary school in Islington is looking for a confident and organised Exams Officer to take ownership of their exam cycle from January 2026. This is an important role within the school, requiring someone who can balance accuracy, deadlines and communication with ease.
You’ll coordinate every stage of the exam schedule-planning, entries, invigilation and results-while keeping everything compliant with JCQ expectations. If you enjoy being the steady, reliable person in a fast-paced environment, this role will suit you well.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the full exams calendar and key deadlines
* Liaising with exam boards and ensuring all compliance is met
* Supporting staff, students and parents with exam-related queries
* Organising, training and scheduling the invigilation team
* Maintaining secure storage and accurate data at all times
You’ll need:
* Experience in school administration (exams experience a bonus)
* Strong organisational and IT skills
* A calm approach and excellent attention to detail
* Confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
