About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students in their learning and personal development, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their goals. Your work will make a real difference in students’ confidence, engagement, and success.
Responsibilities:
* Assist students in accessing lessons and activities, tailoring support to individual needs.
* Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement personalised learning and behaviour strategies.
* Build trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and independence.
* Support personal care, emotional regulation, and hygiene where required, ensuring dignity and respect.
* Monitor and record student progress accurately, supporting SEN plans where needed.
* Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience supporting students in a school setting is preferred.
* Understanding of SEN conditions and evidence-based support strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of students.
