Overview
System and Requirements Manager (Ref 107) – Costain Group PLC. Developing, owning, and managing all requirements management processes and managing configuration and general change management of technical artifacts and documentation.
Responsibilities
* Developing, owning, and managing all requirements management processes
* Managing configuration and general change management of technical artifacts and documentation
* Reporting progress on requirements management activities to stakeholders of all levels when required
* Deliver systems engineering services according to project needs and in accordance with Costain internal standards
* Act as lead (and carry out where required) requirements management activities including:
o Elicitation
o Requirements writing
o Change and configuration management (baselining and requirements technical change)
o Decomposition, derivation, traceability
* Act as a point of contact for systems engineering with Costain SMEs on projects and with HAL client representatives
* Own the requirements management environment and ensure that all requirements (and related artefacts) are captured and kept up to date. Manage access for users as required and provide informal training
* Lead (and carry out where required) the verification and validation of requirements with Costain and subcontractor leads and SMEs
* Own the HAL requirements & benefits trackers and VVCRMs
* Lead and support the definition of the system architecture for the whole CTA Cofferdam and other key projects on AMCP
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field such as systems engineering, mechanical engineering, or mathematics
* INCOSE SEP accreditation (ASEP, CSEP, or ASEP) or working towards
Desirable
* Holds chartered engineer (CEng) status or demonstration of working towards this professional recognition
