Medical Writer - Med Affairs and MedEd, Edinburgh

Responsibilities:
* Understand science and product strategies related to projects through research and resource utilization.
* Review literature and competitive information to stay updated on market and emerging competitors.
* Incorporate commercial context and brand objectives into written materials.
* Adhere to the ABPI code of conduct and industry guidelines.
* Draft and structure various documents such as manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, and training programs.
* Ensure communication objectives are met and adapt writing styles for different audiences.
* Manage projects, maintain quality control, proofread, and liaise with clients and team members.
* Participate in proposal development, research presentations, and team brainstorms.
* Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate project statuses effectively.
* Engage with industry developments and trends to enhance project work.
Ideal Candidate:

* Is adaptable, proactive, organized, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
* Holds experience in medical writing, preferably in an agency setting, with a relevant science degree (Master's preferred).
* Possesses a solid scientific background, understanding of clinical trials, and knowledge of statistical variables and measurement scales.
* Demonstrates clear, concise writing, professional presence, and strong communication skills.
* Is energetic, detail-oriented, and proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint.
