About the Role
Are you an experienced leader in vehicle repair operations looking to take charge of an Accident Repair Centre? Our client is seeking an Accident Repair Centre Manager to lead and manage a skilled team of panel beaters, paint technicians, estimators, and customer advisors. This crucial role involves overseeing daily workshop operations, managing budgets and supplier contracts, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and BS10125 quality standards, and nurturing strong relationships with customers and insurance companies.
Our client offers a competitive salary of £37,500 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience), private healthcare, company vehicle, ongoing training, 22 days holiday plus statutory days, enhanced sick pay scheme, and pension scheme.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience
* Proven leadership and management experience within an accident repair or vehicle bodyshop environment.
* Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts, and operational workflows.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality repair standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Skills
* Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with staff, customers, fleet managers, and insurers.
* Thorough technical understanding of vehicle mechanics and repair processes.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to manage workflow and equipment maintenance.
* Commitment to health and safety standards and continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
* Experience managing operations and teams within an accident repair centre or similar automotive environment.
* Ability to meet performance targets and deliver business objectives successfully.
