Medical Workforce Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for an administrator post within the Medical Workforce team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The department is a very busy team who deal with Medical staff recruitment and other aspects of their terms and conditions.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support and assist the Head of Medical Workforce and the Medical Workforce team in all aspects of rota template design, exception reporting and medical recruitment and resourcing by managing the recruitment life cycle with regard to Deaneries/Training & Trust vacancies and dealing with day-to-day enquiries from doctors and managers for both the Bedford and Luton sites.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 GCSE (C and above) or equivalent experience
* Experience in using Microsoft packages and electronic systems
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Awareness of Medical rota design
* Understanding of medical terms and conditions
Experience
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Experience of working in a team
* Experience of medical recruitment
* Previous NHS experience
Knowledge
* Ability to priorities and manage time effectively
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to pilot projects
