The role Working as the High Growth Adviser, you will work as part of a team to proactively identify, engage and work with SMEs in Boston and South Holland, as well high growth businesses across Greater Lincolnshire that are on a high growth trajectory. Operating in an account management role, you will provide one-to-one support offering a flexible and tailored service to deliver a high-quality diagnostic to establish the needs of the business and support them to develop a tailored action plan to help the business through their growth journey. You will motivate and encourage high growth businesses to engage with sources of High Growth Programme support through helping them to understand the benefits they can expect to receive in exchange for their investment of time. The role requires someone with a background in small, medium and high growth businesses, either working in them, or in a support or partnership role. You will have experience in business development, helping to ensure you are on the same page as them. You will need to build and grow relationships across a variety of different fields to support businesses within your region, as well as identify partners to provide support on your behalf. Knowledge and understanding of Government organisations, national business support organisations and initiatives, policy, and funding initiatives will be beneficial, as will knowledge of the financial support available. You will also act as an ambassador for the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub and the GLLEP and participate in networking events, exhibitions, and other events to promote the holistic service the growth hub provides and support businesses that are in attendance. A bit about you This role needs someone who is an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail. You will have a can-do attitude and the ability to manage priorities effectively and efficiently. You will be able to convey information professionally, accurately, and clearly, as well as demonstrate presentation and report-writing skills. You will be assigned your own client caseload and will need to be able to work proactively to manage it. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence individuals and groups. You will be required to travel in this role as you will be meeting businesses across Lincolnshire. A bit about us In return, we offer an excellent benefits package.
