Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Auto Electrician Join Swindon Autos!

Swindon Autos is proud to support individuals and businesses in keeping their vehicles moving. Were looking to welcome new team members with experience as Vehicle Technicians, Vehicle Mechanics, or Auto Electricians.
What Will You Do:
Day to day, you will typically:
* Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on cars and vans (brakes, suspension, exhausts, tyres, fluids and safety checks).
* Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment and your own fault-finding skills.
* Perform mechanical repairs such as clutches, timing belts/chains, steering and cooling system work.
* For auto electricians: diagnose and repair electrical faults, wiring issues and faults in charging, starting, lighting and in-car electronic systems.
* Prepare vehicles for MOT and complete repair work to MOT standards.
* Complete job cards and records accurately and keep customers updated in a clear, professional way.
What Were Looking For:
1. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
2. Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanic, or auto electrician
3. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
4. Full UK driving licence
