Job Overview
The Workforce and Finance Administrator joins the Barnet Lane Clinic’s Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS) to provide essential administrative and finance support. The role is part of a 37.5‑hour work week and combines office management, HR administration and finance tasks using systems such as Sage and Sicon.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and secure personnel files and electronic absence records.
* Manage staff absences, leave requests and fit‑note processing for payroll.
* Carry out day‑to‑day desk functions: minute taking, photocopying, scanning, archiving and general administration.
* Collect and set‑up starter paperwork and enter new staff into the relevant HR systems.
* Process purchase orders, receive and approve invoices, manage Patient Monies and Petty Cash.
* Maintain the Immigration Spreadsheet and ensure monthly DBS renewal checks.
* Respond to third‑party information requests and references.
* Maintain hard and electronic personnel files to CQC standards and support audit preparation.
* Assist with ad‑hoc tasks and support senior staff as required.
Qualifications
* Secretarial and/or HR administration experience.
* Proficiency in ECDL/RSA II or equivalent typing skills.
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics.
* Experience of minute taking and strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Knowledge of systems supporting HR and finance departments.
* Demonstrated awareness of confidentiality and information‑security procedures.
