Who are IBK Initiatives?
IBK is a community based, not-for-profit social enterprise with over 20 years' experience of providing Direct Payment Support to families, children and adults of all ages with a range of needs. We provide a bespoke matching service, finding the right PA for the right person.
Having Autism, the young man is non-verbal and sometimes can display some challenging behaviours and is in need of someone who is patient and attentive. The family are looking for someone who is experienced and can use their initiative during these challenging situations. Someone who can both learn and acknowledge his love of routine and structure in his day-to-day life.

They are looking for a PA who can teach and support the young man to learn to interact with others and have more of an understanding about the world around him.
The responsibilities will include:
* Keep the young man engaged with the activities he enjoys
* Keeping him safe
* Some personal care
Training will be provided for this role alongside the young person's dad or one of his established PA's to understand his routines to help him feel safe with you.
