A welcoming and supportive primary school in Wallington is seeking an experienced KS2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis to cover a maternity leave. This role is expected to run for approximately two terms, offering stability within a friendly and well‑organised school environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident KS2 practitioner who is looking for a long‑term role with reduced planning responsibilities, as planning will be provided by the school.
You will take full class responsibility within Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and well‑structured lessons based on pre‑prepared planning. The role involves maintaining strong classroom routines, supporting pupil progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
* Delivering high‑quality lessons in line with KS2 curriculum
* Using provided planning to ensure consistency and strong pupil outcomes
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively and positively
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
* Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
* Contributing to the wider school community

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
