Customer Service & Planning Administrator Job
Due to continued growth and increased production, this is a new job to the Customer Service and Planning team. This team plays a vital role in keeping things running smoothly across both planning and customer service, providing the backbone of support that allows the business to deliver on time and to a high standard.
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring stock is ordered when needed, supporting the sales team with key information, and handling after-sales administration. You'll also play a part in setting up new products in the system, making sure data is entered accurately so everything flows through the business correctly. It's a varied and interesting role that will evolve as you develop, with the opportunity to take ownership of more areas over time.
What you'll be doing:
* Raising purchase orders for packaging components when stock reports show items are running low.
* Supporting internal sales colleagues in a dedicated area with queries on lead times, order readiness, pricing, and moving shipments forward.
* Raising invoices once orders are complete and handling after-sales queries, such as updating records if containers are delayed or shipments are bumped.
* Setting up new products in the system using Excel spreadsheets – entering product codes, pack specs accurately before uploading into the system.
* Working closely with the wider team to ensure information is accurate, up to date, and accessible.
What we're looking for:
* Strong attention to detail – you'll be working with data that needs to be right first time.
* Good working knowledge of Excel and confidence handling spreadsheets.
* Organised and methodical approach to tasks.
* Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
* A team player with good communication skills.
* Willingness to learn – full training will be given, but initiative and ownership are encouraged.
