Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 1 & 2 Truck Driver's to join our team. The ideal candidate's will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Transport goods to designated locations.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of loads, adhering to all safety protocols.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
* Communicate effectively with the Transport Office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various weather conditions.
* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns professionally.
Qualifications
* Valid commercial driving licence (C) or (C+E) with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
* Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
* Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items when necessary.
