Our client is looking for several experianced PPT DRIVERS who are seeking a great Temp to Perm opportunities across the country
The perfect candidate for a PPT DRIVER will have experience working within a warehouse environment, however, we do welcome those with no experience who are looking to build an ongoing career with a reputable company for the foreseeable future, as training is provided from day 1 to ensure you can integrate into the environment.

Pay
£12.81 p/h
Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)
* Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated location
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement
* Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
* inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
* Ensure the application of the business “key standards” are maintained
* Ensure productivity targets are met
* Assist with stock counts and movements
* Assist as required within all operational work areas
* Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times to comply with Company
* Policy and Health & Safety Regulations
* General Housekeeping including sweeping/cleaning up the warehouse
* Promote excellent working standards complying with the company BRCGS guidelines
* Undertake any other tasks as directed by a member of the management team.
Key Experience And Qualifications
* Previous experience as a PPT DRIVER, preferably in a commercial or warehouse setting - you will be required to be assessed
* Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance
* Familiarity with various types of vehicles, such as vans and flatbed trucks
* Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
* Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
* Basic understanding of Math and English
* Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative working in a busy environment
* Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team to deliver results
