The successful Lead Quality Engineer will be easily able to commute to HUDDERSFIELD from surrounding towns & cities, including Leeds, Dewsbury, Halifax, Wakefield and Brighouse.
Key Responsibilities of the Lead Quality Engineer will include:
1. Manage a team of up to 5 Quality Engineers or equivalent
2. Maintain and govern Quality management systems such as ISO 9001:2015 via thorough internal and external auditing
3. Manage the Quality function including resource planning, coaching and training.
4. Work within a multi-functional integrated project team, representing and promoting Quality throughout all areas of the team
5. Engage with 3rd party accreditation bodies, customers, suppliers and end users to ensure the delivery of quality requirements inline with regulations and standards.
6. Ensure accurate usage of internal systems such as SAP for the timely recording of non-conformity, discrepancies
