Credit Control Query Analyst – Messaging Centre of Excellence
AXA XL is hiring a Credit Control Query Analyst – Messaging Centre of Excellence in Ipswich, UK. The role supports the UK Credit Control Messaging COE to power the business, improve credit control service delivery for UK underwriters, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The position involves learning about the insurance industry and AXA XL while performing root cause analysis to clear unallocated Underwriters Signing Messages (USM) and ensure end-to-end processes comply with AXA XL guidelines.
You will be based in our Ipswich office with a hybrid working arrangement.
What you’ll be doing
* Review unallocated signings on the Frame (Premium Accounting System) and develop knowledge of bureau business; retrieve data/documentation from DXC portals to facilitate root cause analysis
* Collaborate with Underwriting Assistants and Policy Management teams to ensure accurate policy bookings and allocation of cash
* Develop knowledge of AXA XL lines of business to support day-to-day functions and improve query resolution
* Coordinate with Enterprise Shared Service Teams (in India) to ensure timely cash allocation after booking resolution
* Build relationships with underwriting support functions and ensure adherence to standards and SOPs across UK&L portfolio
* Produce operational and business reports on a defined schedule; use workflow and time-tracking tools to manage workloads, meet deadlines and targets
* Adhere to Credit Control services and procedures; select appropriate credit control methods; liaise with brokers and escalate to manager when needed
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and evolve controls and solution-based approaches
* Ensure competence across Premium Accounting Systems and DXC portals

* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas)
* Computer literacy with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
* Some knowledge of insurance beneficial; full training will be provided
* Some knowledge of bureau mechanics would be beneficial
