We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our Innovative Platforms team to develop and support our HCAP solution. HCAP is a modern cloud-based platform used to design, manage, validate, and automate rack, discrete, and flight case builds. The platform provides several benefits, including reducing human errors, simplifying change control, and driving standardisation through automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable and efficient web applications using React.
What you’ll do
* Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React.
* Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
* Optimise applications for speed, accessibility, and scalability.
* Conduct code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
* Engage with clients to understand and refine UI/UX requirements.
* Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.
What you’ll need
* At least 5 years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React.
* Experience with component libraries such as @mui, @radix-ui, @shadcn/ui, and styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
* Hands-on experience with bundlers such as RSPack or Vite.
* Knowledge of state management tools like zustand or valtio.
* Experience with testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, or React Testing Library.
* Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
* Awareness of web accessibility standards and performance optimisation techniques.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience with TypeScript, Angular, or Vue.js.
* Familiarity with Atomic CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
* Understanding of SEO principles.
* Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
