THE ROLE

As a Legal Secretary in our Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) team, you will play a vital role in supporting the team with administrative support, mainly within the Mental Health team.


Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting solicitors providing them with dedicated administrative support on Court of Protection and Mental Health matters.
* Conducting legal research and drafting documents.
* Liaising with clients and keeping them informed about their case progress.
* Handling administrative tasks, including file management, document organisation, and scheduling.
* Preparing and formatting legal documents.
* Ensuring the smooth daily running of the department.

This role is based from our Wakefield office with a mixture of home and office working.


What you’ll bring

We’re seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or a strong enthusiasm for legal work.
* Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
