Senior Finance Business Partner / Operational Finance Manager | £70,000 - £75,000 + benefits (including car allowance, 20% bonus, family healthcare plan etc) | Devizes
The Opportunity
If you are someone commercially minded looking to join a manufacturing business that will stretch your business partnering ability rather than bog you down in the weeds of month end it would be great to speak.
* You’ll join a manufacturing business that has almost trebled revenue in the past 5 years! Currently £75m+ turnover and continuing to expand, it’s a fast-paced, modern and innovative FMCG manufacturing setting.
* The focus is added value business partnering. Working in close collaboration with the Head of Operations / GM and factory SLT for the thriving business unit.
* The 'nuts and bolts’ of the management accounts pack prep and balance sheet work is done by a central team. You have the freedom to take the pack out into the business and influence positive change and commercially impactful decision making.
It’s a great business - a subsidiary of a FTSE 250 group that can offer significant career progression for the right person. Equally if you are a seasoned finance professional who loves the cut and thrust of manufacturing, but you are comfortable at site finance lead level, then this is a role that will give you a high degree of involvement and reward.
There’s plenty of projects to get your teeth into - developing and standardising the commercial / operational reporting, longer range forecasting, capex and ROI projects, cost drill downs, operational KPI reviews…. It’s a role that works closely with the SLT and is absolutely vital.
You’ll manage a small team of more junior locally based FBPs.

Required:
* Previous experience of finance business partnering within a manufacturing / production setting.
* Good understanding of the levers of profit and cost in a growth business.
* Ability to win hearts and minds and confidence when presenting / discussing financial info with an operational leadership team.
* Proactivity - it suits someone who loves to get out into the business to understand where optimisation and efficiencies live!
* Ability to influence strategic and long range planning as well and managing the day to day tactical accounting / business partnering
* CIMA or equivalent required.
