The role of a Logistics Supervisor is to be actively involved in the daily running of the warehouse processes and follow all stock procedures. To receive goods in deliveries and assist in transferring of stock to the store(s) as requested. Supporting the customer experience through stock availability and legal compliance of deliveries and controls. Key Responsibilities Manage the warehouse team to; - Receive supplier deliveries and ensure an accurate inventry is maintained - Raise queries if discrepancies are identified within deliveries frm suppliers - Ensure the warehuse organised and all H&S standards are adhered to - Escalate any H&S cncerns immediately - Maintain a safe wrking environment for the team and visitors to site - Liaise with the store(s) to collate delivery schedules and orders - Ensure deliveries are made to the airport location in accordance with their rules and regulations - Process all security related paperwork as required (accessing an airport location) - Process all HMRC related paperwork as required, HM Revenue & Customs Skills & Experience - Previous experience at supervisory or managerial level in a retail (or similar) - Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) - Ability to work in a team or individually depending on the needs of the business - Be able to remain professional and courteous under pressure - Excellent interpersonal skills and team working - Self-motivated - Ability to quickly learn about systems, new products and procedures Team Management - Manage the team of Warehouse Assistants, ensuring they are motivated, engaged and working to their full potential - Coaching the team to develop - Rewarding and recognising excellence within the team Security - Ensuring security of stock - Responsible for the warehouse security when on shift - Awareness of potential security risks associated with the wider airport Our company: Lagardère Travel Retail is a pioneering global leader in the travel retail industry currently operating over 5,000 stores across Travel Essentials, Duty Free & Fashion and Foodservice in airports, railway stations and other concessions in 42 countries worldwide, we generated €5.2bn sales in 2022.
