We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times.
* Help prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
* Maintain accurate care plans and documentation of client progress and needs.
* Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs.
* Utilise IT systems for record keeping and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
* Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
* A caring nature with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need.
