Part-time (maximum 0.2 FTE, every Wednesday), up until May half term 2026
Required from September 2025
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Spanish to join our Modern Foreign Languages Faculty. The successful candidate will teach a small group of highly motivated Year 11 students, providing targeted support as they work towards completing their GCSE. This position is timetabled for Wednesday afternoons, with required working hours from 12:00pm to 3:15pm (including 30 minutes PPA and 2 hours of teaching). Working within our strong, supportive and experienced team of MFL staff, the successful candidate will have a firm commitment to raising whole-school achievement; have a professional approach to staff development; high expectations; and a determination to succeed. The successful applicant will have the ability to successfully and effectively teach Spanish at Key Stage 4 and is confident in conducting the speaking element of the GCSE exam.
The faculty is at an exciting point in its development and enjoying considerable success in public exams at all levels.
