Blackmagic Design
Blackmagic Design is a market leading manufacturer of creative media technology providing professional solutions for film makers, broadcasters, and AV partners. Our range of products include market leading digital cinema cameras, 4K video distribution, processing, switching and monitoring solutions, alongside Emmy award winning VFX, grading and post-production technology.
Role Description
As an Enterprise Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development and growth of Blackmagic Design's business in HETV and features production, camera rental markets and cinematography communities and agencies across EMEA.
Utilising professional experience and a deep understanding of digital cinema camera systems, operational best practices, and on-set camera to post workflows, together with an analytical approach to digital cinema markets, you will build and influence networks and contacts to identify growth opportunities for Blackmagic Design solutions, technologies and products.
Your role will predominantly focus on end-user engagement and lead generation as a result of understanding modern film-making and production needs, whilst concentrating on consultative selling related to camera hardware and associated production workflows. You will also be responsible for account management of a growing network of rental partners as Blackmagic Design expands its visibility and availability through key industry partners across EMEA.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for the development, tracking and reporting of sales planning across 6, 12 and 24-month timeframes; identifying key countries and target customers whilst working towards agreed sales objectives and revenue targets. Within these plans, you will work with Partner Managers from the sales team for local language and regional support, who will assist where customer engagement requires additional support from a local sales partner. At other times, your sales pipeline will seek to engender stronger influence and relationship building with key customers through direct sales accounts.
Your work will be supported and coordinated with key Blackmagic Design EMEA staff, including Business Development Managers, Product Specialists and Marketing teams, with a specific focus on Enterprise Sales and Digital Cameras, ensuring company wide strategic development is implemented through day-to-day sales activity. Your sales planning will consider and understand how broader strategic aims of Blackmagic Design globally sit within the HETV, scripted content and features production markets for the EMEA region, and what implementation of marketing assets and creative customer engagement is required, and where, for these to be achieved.
As a highly motivated individual, you will work independently whilst maintaining high levels of productivity. You will maintain clear and effective communication lines with your Sales Director in planning and scheduling of work, and with key colleagues in the business development, creative and implementation teams to ensure completion of your sales objectives and revenue targets are achieved.
