You will play a key role in ensuring trading activities remain compliant, that our client stays on top of new and existing policies and regulations, and where necessary lobby for changes. This role requires in depth policy expertise with the ability to interpret regulatory changes into meaningful commercial processes for the company. The role will also serve as the company compliance officer responsible for control framework design and execution. This is a fantastic opportunity for a policy/regulatory expert who would relishes working in a fast moving, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
The candidate will possess the following:
* Experience of attending relevant policy working groups and industry events.
* Shaping policy outcomes through strategic stakeholder engagement.
* A track record of successfully being able to influence stakeholders and drive change.
Responsibilities
* Ensure trading activities remain compliant and that the organisation stays on top of new and existing policies and regulations.
* Interpret regulatory changes into meaningful commercial processes for the company.
* Serve as the company compliance officer responsible for control framework design and execution.
* Lobby for changes where necessary.
* Contribute to the growth and expansion plans in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
