We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Estimator with experience in Fabrication or Structural to join our manufacturing team in Aberdeen.

Position
Accountability
1. Maintain the quotation and bid register using AESSOP, ensuring information is accurate.
2. Ensure bid dates are known and adhered to.
3. Understand the wider bid requirements and seek support where required.
4. Support the development of accurate cost estimates of both labour and materials from concept drawings and sketches, task descriptions and proposal documents.
5. Work from received equipment / drawings or possible site visits.
6. Liaise closely with other departments to refine internal cost estimates.
7. Upload bids to client portals where applicable.
8. Work with supply chain to develop estimates and/or draw on historical cost records and modify as necessary.
9. Obtain quotations for third-party goods and services.
10. Submit official quotations to clients.
11. Write detailed customer proposals to meet and exceed their expectations including fully specification compliant quotations and data sheets.
12. Basic sizing of vessels and heat exchangers for estimating purposes.
13. Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business.
14. Sustain a safe and clean working environment.
15. Comply with all company procedures and policies.
Requirements
Experience
1. QHSE Auditing qualifications, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent along with significant previous experience in senior QHSE roles.
2. Proven experience across multiple industries, such as renewables, industrials, manufacturing, nuclear and defence.
3. Excellent understanding of HSE legislation, management systems and practices.
4. Excellent understanding of quality standards such as ISO 17020, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
