An established membership organisation within the UK warehousing and logistics sector are recruiting an Events Executive to support the delivery of a varied and high-profile events programme. This vacancy offers the opportunity to play a visible role in shaping industry-leading events, working closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen brand presence, member engagement and commercial outcomes across the UK.
* Up to £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Hybrid working, typically 2–3 days per week in the office
* 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
* UK-wide travel with occasional overnight stays
Duties and responsibilities:
* Support the planning and delivery of an events strategy aligned to organisational objectives, balancing brand awareness and lead generation
* Coordinate and deliver a portfolio of events, including large-scale flagship conferences and awards events
* Manage the organisation’s presence at third‑party exhibitions and trade shows, including sponsorship visibility and on‑site coordination
* Assist with integrated marketing campaigns to drive event registrations and attendance
* Oversee the production of event marketing materials and collateral
* Evaluate event performance using feedback and key metrics to inform future improvements
* Represent the organisation professionally at industry events and support wider cross‑functional projects
Required skills and experience:
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) with at least two years’ experience in an events, marketing or similar role
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Willingness to travel across the UK and work flexibly to support event schedules
* Commercial awareness and an interest in delivering measurable results
* A collaborative approach with confidence to contribute ideas and improvements
