COMMERCIAL LITIGATION SOLICITOR - NQ-4 PQE
A talented and ambitious Commercial Litigation Solicitor is required to join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a Legal 500 listed firm, working alongside experienced litigators on a broad range of high-quality, often complex disputes for a diverse client base.
THE ROLE
You will work as part of a supportive and collaborative team that prides itself on delivering clear, practical and commercially focused advice. The role offers exposure to a varied and stimulating caseload, including:
* Commercial and contractual disputes
* Partnership and shareholder disputes
* Injunctive relief
* Intellectual property disputes
* Contentious insolvency matters
* Contentious landlord and tenant and other property-related disputes
* Professional negligence claims
You will be encouraged to take a commercial and solutions-driven approach, helping clients resolve disputes as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. This includes advising on and participating in alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation, arbitration and negotiated settlements, as well as supporting matters that proceed through the courts where necessary.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You will
* Be a qualified solicitor between NQ and 4 years' PQE
* Have experience (or strong exposure) in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
* Demonstrate excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
* Be commercially minded, with a practical approach to problem-solving
* Be keen to develop your advocacy, negotiation and ADR experience
* Thrive in a team environment while confidently managing your own matters
