Role: Control Centre Coordinator
Location: Barnsley, S75 1JN
Salary: c£26,000 per annum pro-rata (depending on experience)
Role Type : Maternity Cover, Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2026, Part-Time, 17 hours per week (days to be discussed at interview)

At the heart of the action, youll be coordinating repairs and maintenance across over 1,000 Ministry of Defence sites. Thats a third of the UK relying on us to keep things moving, so we need process-driven, resilient and customer-focused problem solvers to join our team. Youll be scheduling works, liaising with customers and operational staff and ensuring jobs are recorded, progressed, and delivered to the highest standards.
What Youll Be Doing: Answering and logging calls and emails swiftly
Managing a busy inbox full of internal and external requests
Capturing key details from customer interactions and keeping our systems updated
Tracking, scheduling, and supervising repair and maintenance jobs
Coordinating field-based colleagues and keeping operations running smoothly
Handling job feedback and making improvements along the way
What Youll Bring: Strong administration and IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence in building strong working relationships
A proactive, hard-working approach to problem-solving
A passion for improving processes and meeting deadlines
The ability to multitask effectively and work on several tasks at one time
A can-do attitude that thrives under pressure

Given the nature of our work, we do have security clearance requirements so you must have been a full-time resident of the UK for at least five years
