About The Role
We are looking for an additional Security Officer to join our team based at our site in Scunthorpe. This position will consist of a 12 hour, 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating both days and nights. 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00. The salary for this position is £31,948.80 + Quarterly Bonus up to £400.
Main responsibilities:
1. Checking visitors, deliveries and contractors in and out of site
2. Acting as a visual deterrent, patrolling and securing the site
3. Prevent and investigate acts of theft, criminal damage and breaches of site policy
4. Respond to incidents and alarms both on and off site
5. Operate a multitude of security and access control systems from CCTV to electrical fencing
6. Conduct personnel and vehicle searches as required
7. Carry out advanced first aid / FPOS and drug and alcohol testing as required (Full certificated training provided)
8. Produce reports on day to day operations and irregularities escalating to management as required
About You
Desired skills & knowledge:
9. Driving license is essential
10. SIA, First Aid and Fire Marshal training are desirable but not essential
11. Computer literate
12. Flexible, committed and punctual
