Job Title: Interim Insolvency Practitioner Location: South (Hybrid Working Available) Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term (Starting September) Day Rate Considered Salary: Competitive Bonus / Day Rate Option Available Overview: A growing and forward-thinking insolvency practice in the South of England is seeking an experienced Insolvency Practitioner to join the firm on a minimum 12-month fixed-term basis, starting in September 2025. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for case strategy, regulatory oversight, and driving new business opportunities during a period of planned expansion. Key Responsibilities: Act as office-holder across a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, and Administrations Provide technical oversight and strategic input on complex and high-value assignments Lead and support case teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and regulatory compliance Engage with key stakeholders including directors, creditors, legal advisors, and external professionals Work with senior leadership to identify and develop new business opportunities, whether through your own network or internal channels Contribute to internal improvements and help shape operational best practice Candidate Profile: Licensed Insolvency Practitioner with substantial experience in corporate insolvency Proven track record of acting as office-holder on a range of appointments Commercially minded, with the ability to identify new opportunities and contribute to business development Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills Able to commit to a 12-month period, with potential for longer-term collaboration Willing and able to attend the office on a hybrid basis (location discussed during process) Whats on Offer: 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong salary and bonus structure Day rate option considered for the right candidate Supportive and entrepreneurial culture Opportunity to play a visible role in a growing, well-regarded firm Flexibility around working arrangements
