Full-Time Learning Support Assistant

We are currently seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Gosport. About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their potential, both academically and personally. Your responsibilities will vary day-to-day and may include:
* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), including working closely with children on EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).
* Delivering one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual learning needs.
* Assisting teachers in the classroom to help maintain a productive learning environment.
* Supporting students with personal care, behaviour management, and social development where appropriate.
* Preparing resources and contributing to lesson planning.
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers.
You may be assigned key children to work with consistently throughout the week, helping them build confidence and make meaningful progress.
Who We’re Looking For
We are ideally looking for individuals with school-based or childcare experience, but we are also open to those with limited experience who are passionate, enthusiastic, and ready to learn on the job. A positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to develop your skills are key.
