We’re looking for a reflective, inspiring, and knowledgeable Religious Education Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Leeds, dedicated to nurturing open-minded, curious, and respectful learners.
Your Role Will Involve:
* Delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Encouraging respectful dialogue on diverse religious and non-religious worldviews
* Planning creative, inclusive lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Creating a safe and open classroom environment for meaningful discussions
* Contributing to school ethos, spiritual development, and enrichment activities
* Collaborating with a passionate and supportive Humanities team
You Should Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
Experience teaching RE in a UK secondary school setting
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
A commitment to inclusion and interfaith understanding
Enthusiasm for both academic rigour and pastoral care
