Key responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage project activities for major customer orders and new product introductions.
* Maintain project schedules and track progress against agreed milestones.
* Prepare and manage project documentation in line with customer and ISO requirements.
* Monitor project status and provide updates to stakeholders, customers and senior management.
* Support quotation and bid preparation for new enquiries and projects.
* Coordinate drawing updates and engineering change activities.
* Organise and document project review meetings, including design, contract and production readiness reviews.
* Maintain accurate project records and ensure critical documentation is stored correctly.
* Monitor project costs and support budget control activities.
* Assist cross functional teams with customer documentation, quality plans and inspection plans.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to project delivery and business processes.
What you’ll need
* HNC, HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline.
* Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Desirable
* Previous project management experience.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
* Experience using project management software such as MS Project.
* Knowledge of gated project management processes.
* Exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
* Experience within regulated industries such as Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Nuclear or Energy.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD Inventor or Autodesk Vault.
* Understanding of PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ or similar product launch methodologies.
* French language skills would be advantageous.
