Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and providing guidance to staff while fostering positive relationships with children and their families.
Duties
* Supervise and support staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
* Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication skills and fostering a positive team atmosphere.
* Engage with children in a meaningful way, promoting their development through play and educational activities.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both children and staff.
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to address any concerns or feedback regarding their children's care.
* Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate programmes that cater to the needs of children in our care.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery setting.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a childcare setting is essential.
* Background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications are highly desirable.
* Experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or similar environment.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting children or materials as needed.
* A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development is crucial.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
