Job Overview
The Senior PMO Manager will lead the development and maturation of the Programme Management Office (PMO) within the Directorate. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective governance, assurance, planning and delivery support across a complex portfolio of regulatory, operational and transformation programmes. This includes designing, embedding and continually improving PMO standards, frameworks and processes to support consistent, high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Working closely with senior leaders, providing insight and control to enable informed decision-making, supporting portfolio prioritisation and optimising the use of resources.
* Driving improvements in programme, project and portfolio management capability, ensuring delivery approaches are aligned with strategic objectives.
* Ensuring the PMO operates as a centre of excellence, responsible for governance, planning, assurance, reporting and capability-building, enabling programmes to deliver measurable value for money.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working across large government or public sector bodies.
* Strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement and influence at senior levels.
