Position: Senior Residential Support Worker (Team Leader) - Children's Home
Salary: £29,328/annum, £14.10/hr Based on 40 hr working week. (plus, sleep in allowance of £65 per night. Where there is a requirement for on call duties this will be paid at an additional rate)

Location: Oldham (OL4)
Hours: On a rota basis to suit the needs of the home (Full time and part-time positions are available)
We are looking for a number of experienced and dedicated Senior support workers to work within a children's home opening in the Oldham area.
The Home offers specialised residential care and support for children up to the age of 18 years with Learning Disabilities and/or autism, who present in behaviours that challenge.

The position:
* You will be part of a brand-new team, working together to create a safe and loving home from home environment for the children and young people who live there.
* Be expected to provide 24-hour care and support for all the children living at the home.
* Some personal care may be required depending on the individual needs of the child.
Requirements:
* In order to qualify as a senior member of staff you must have either a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* You must have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service. If you do not currently have a DBS, then we can help with your application for a new DBS.
* Prior experience and understanding of behaviours that challenge within a residential setting is essential.
* 2 years prior experience working with children with SEN such as Autism and learning disabilities as well as challenging behaviours would be desirable.
* You will be subject to all relevant checks to comply with the law and safer recruitment guidelines and provide all relevant documentation.
